How It Works
Features

Smartmicro airborne radars are based on state-of-the-art 24 GHz radar technology. They work by sending out a low power microwave beam and capturing all reflections within its coverage. Depending on the application, either the shortest distance is reported (altimeter, air drop sensor) or a list of all visible objects is given (proximity warning system).

The applied radar principle allows precise and stable direct measurement of the distance at a high update rate.
